Recipes I have Tried and Tested

 

You have been directed here because you have a selected a recipe that is not my own. I have however tried and tested it in my kitchen and have wholeheartedly approved it. Here are my pictures of the finished product my cooking notes and a link to the recipe.

Maple and Bacon Infused Popcorn

Notes:

  • I didn't add the cashews and it was really yummy. Instead I added an extra 1/4 cup of popcorn.

  • It made about 5 cups.

  • My caramel was a bit sticky and gooey so I put it in the oven for 10 minutes on 180 degrees to crisp up. Keep your eye on it as sugar can burn quickly.

Giant Snickers Cake

Notes:

  • I didn't like the way the chocolate icing melted together it wasn't gelling nicely like chocolate should. I found incoporating a dessert spoon of the boiling water helped bring the icing together.

  • Make sure you work with the cake in a cool temperature. It can get quite melty.
